Music Monday - 19 - Country Party - The Killer Look -

Welcome back from your Thanksgiving holiday! Hopefully you’re recovering well and are able to bring your self out of your post turkey comatose state. Seeing as I was hosting the holiday this year for a good chunk of my immediate family, I took quite the detour on our traditional dinner my mother serves. I served some butternut squash with apple bruschetta for appetizers but not my surprise, they were heavily overshadowed by our other appetizer, the Bloomin’ Onion Bread Bowl! That bread bowl was outstanding. Gooey cheese with onions and butter, we ate the whole thing! But the most non-traditional item we served was probably the main course. Not wanting to cook a whole turkey for so few people, full well knowing my nieces are picky eaters and wouldn’t touch it anyway, we made spaghetti with turkey meatballs! Honestly, it was a huge hit! Great twist on an old classic, and the girls even had seconds. We capped off the meal with dessert and cocktails, recipes for both of those as well: Crescent Apple Roses & Apple Pie Spiced Cider Cocktails! Both entirely delectable! But enough about food! This is supposed to be a music post right?! Well, I kept the country theme going from last week in honor of my family departing today to head back to the Midwest and wanted to give them this parting gift. Country party soundtrack for the car ride home from the airport?

Let me know what you think of this week’s playlist!

Don’t forget to subscribe to my SoundCloud profile to keep up with all my current playlists. Have a song you think I should know about? Feel free to shoot me an email, I’d love to give it a listen and maybe feature it in an upcoming list!
