The giant red ornaments in the fountain plaza at 1251 Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave.) are such a holiday sight to see! Just across the street from Radio City Music Hall and a block from The Rockefeller Christmas Tree, it’s a prime location for holiday merriment.
I’ll be sad to see all the decorations of the city fade away now that the holidays have come and gone. It’s impossible to walk among this city and not be consumed by all the Christmas cheer, it truly is a magical place to be during the holidays.
I absolutely love how the Christmas decorations in Midtown focus on the sheer scale of the decorations themselves. Check out this playfully over sized string of lights strung along 6th Avenue.
